From the curator: I have the greatest admiration for stop-motion animators who practice an art requiring infinite amounts of time and patience, and above all, a first hand experience with "delayed gratification." This transoceanic love affair between Snow and Sand is a perfect example of magical stop-motion animation combined with seamless storytelling.
