Ben Premeaux / Artist
Ben Premeaux is an artist and educator with a passion for photography and video. He grew up in Charlotte, attended Appalachian State University and upon his return began teaching art and photography for CMS. After a stint teaching high school in Northern Virginia and continuing his education at Virginia Commonwealth University, he returned to Charlotte and CMS in 2005. In early 2011 he was the Art Teacher in Residence at McColl Center for Visual Art where he continued to explore his photography and mixed media work. Ben is currently working on launching a new studio, the smART lab where he will continue to follow his passion for photography, art and video. See more of his work.
