Parul Joshi / author

Parul Joshi is an award-winning multimedia journalist. Her career started in Asheville, NC where she was a producer and assignment editor for ABC affiliate WLOS-TV. She then moved to Greenville, NC where she was a reporter and anchor for WNCT-TV, a CBS station.

Currently, she reports for print and television outlets, including North Carolina's statewide television network, UNC-TV, a PBS station. She moved to Charlotte in 2010.

Parul graduated from the University of South Carolina with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. She is very active in her community as a Rotarian and a member of the Women's Inter-Cultural Exchange, and serving on WIE's Advisory Board. Through those organizations, she volunteers extensively across the Charlotte region.

Parul's work has been recognized by the Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists.
