Anna Spangler Nelson / Author
Anna Spangler Nelson is chairman of the private investment firm Spangler Companies, Inc. She is also a partner in the venture capital firm Wakefield Group. She is a board member of several organizations, including the C.D. Spangler Foundation, the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund, Ruddick Corporation, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Project L.I.F.T, and Trinity Episcopal School. She serves as a trustee of the YMCA of Charlotte. She received a degree in economics from Wellesley College and an MBA from Harvard University.
