Gloria Pace King is president and CEO of the United Way of Central Carolinas. She serves as the chair of the National Professional Council (NPC), a self-sustaining board of elected and appointed chief professional officers from United Way organizations nationwide. The council advises the United Way of America CEO on policy practices, accountability and issues that may affect the organization. Prior to assuming her role in 1994, Ms. King served as the President and CEO of the Visiting Nurse Association of Cleveland.
