David Tang / Author

David Tang is Co-Artistic and Executive Director of Firebird Arts Alliance, which brings artists and artistic organizations together, from all disciplines, to collaborate in innovative and artistically fulfilling projects.  He has held the positions of Director of Orchestral Activities at West Virginia University, Assistant Conductor of the Wheeling Symphony, and Director of the Wheeling Symphony Youth Orchestra.  David was the Director of the Oratorio Singers of Charlotte, the combined choruses of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra from 1996-2004.  He earned his doctorate in Orchestra / Opera Conducting at the University of Michigan School of Music.
