Donald K. Jonas, Ph.D. is Vice President with Novant Healthcare and Executive Director of the Presbyterian Hospital Foundation, where he is responsible for all charitable giving in Charlotte and the surrounding region for Presbyterian Hospital. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, was awarded an MA in political science from Appalachian State University, and he received his doctorate in political science from the University of Kentucky. Don has authored or co-authored numerous books, monographs, and newspaper articles on a variety of topics, including the aging of our labor force and the future of America’s health care system. He is a 2005 recipient of the Charlotte Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” award, and he is a German Marshall Fund Fellow.
