Act 2: "Charlotte's Arts Challenge,
A New Way Forward"
In order for any movement to grow, it must attract new talent but also retain the talent it has developed. Riding the tide of the New South and through efforts of organizations like the McColl Center for Visual Art, Charlotte has attracted exciting, fresh and innovative talent to Charlotte’s art community and beyond. But keeping that talent from jumping to bigger and brighter locales hasn’t always been easy. What can be done, if anything, to nurture and grow this creative class? Come find out.
