Brainy Picnic

Location: Independence Park

May 22, 2010

Sunday, 12:00pm - 3:00pm

Brainy Picnic brings intellectual and literary conversation into the open air.

Writers present their own short stories and read poetry while attendees share pot-luck picnic fare and sip lemonade.  The first Brainy Picnic was held in May 2010 in Independence Park as a part of Southern Holiday, a 10-day arts feast of the senses.  There were word games, meet-and-greets - even a free book swap. Hosted by Charlotte Viewpoint and literary mag Furious Season, Brainy Picnic is free to the public.
